“Embrace the glorious mess that you are.”
~ Elizabeth Gilbert
I recently watched a wonderful video – Elizabeth Gilbert: Flight of the Hummingbird – The Curiosity Driven Life. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. I was convinced she was speaking directly to me. And it changed me. That doesn’t happen just everyday. You see Elizabeth Gilbert spoke about NOT following your passion. Yes – the Queen of Follow Your Passion No Matter What had a different message. You see, she experienced a revelation…that just because she found success a certain way—doesn’t mean it is the right way for everyone else.
If you’ve ever believed yourself to be a failure because you just don’t know what your passion is, or how to find your passion, let alone follow it, and it alone, obsessively—then you need to watch this video as well. It’s got a beautiful message…that just might change you as well…
Here’s a blurb from the presentation: Eat, Pray, Love author Elizabeth Gilbert does something she thought she would never do in her SuperSoul Session… she’s actually speaking out AGAINST passion! Elizabeth takes us on a curious flight explaining why sometimes not having a passion can lead to an even more fulfilling life. Is your curiosity piqued?
